As part of valuing teaching and learning week (VIT&L), the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching & Learning has kindly supported this once-off webinar to explore sustainability challenges in the (bio) pharmaceuticals and life-sciences sectors? For educators and professionals in (bio) pharma, the session will address:-
- transformation in sustainability literacy for to the Bio-Pharmaceutical and Life-Sciences sectors;
- Explore exemplars of curriculum design, pedagogical approaches and assessment strategies for sustainability in (Bio) Pharma and Life Sciences
- Explore fundamental questions about the role and purpose of Higher Education in building embedded pathways for lifelong sustainability
The main speakers are William Whitford from DPS Global, Paul McCabe, chair of BioPharmaChem Ireland, and Dr. Cormac MacMahon, senior lecturer in sustainability at TU Dublin and co-founder of SDG Literacy. The session will be chaired by Dr. Adrienne Fleming, of the National Pharmaceutical Education Centre at TU Dublin.
