TU Dublin ConnectED Business Seminar Series is hosting an online event for our students and faculty at 6pm on Monday 18th October. This event is hosted in collaboration with SDG Literacy,a community of practice around sustainability education funded by the National Forum under TU Dublin IMPACT, as part of the Connected Planet Series, a range of expert sustainability seminars throughout the year.

is a social entrepreneur and an ex-slave who escaped child labour, horrifying working conditions, forced marriage, and extreme poverty, risking everything to experience freedom. Today with an education and an impactful voice, Nasreen is empowering women, fighting for fair trade, living wages and better nutrition through her organizations: Local Women’s Handcrafts and the Empowerment Collective.
is a sustainability strategy expert and responsible fashion advisor. Kellie has worked with brands including Vivienne Westwood, Katharine Hamnett London, Manolo Blahnik, Net-A-Porter and Burberry, The North Face, ASOS, VF Corp, Mars and Lancôme amongst others. Her expertise lies in driving social and environmental impact for brands and providing teams with the skills to create meaningful and measurable change. Kellie is also a founder of The Right Project, a personal and professional development space that supports fashion industry professionals to navigate sustainability with clarity and confidence through learning workshops and sits on the advisory board for Fashion Open Studio, Fashion Revolution’s showcasing initiative.
is a freelance facilitator, marketing and PR consultant, lecturer & writer and co-founder of Birdsong, an award-winning social enterprise and cult fashion brand for people who dress in protest. Birdsongs clothing is made by women facing barriers to employment in London. Birdsong design, create and sell original wardrobe staples that are ethical, locally made and sustainable.
