The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the SDG Challenge
As part of TU Dublin Green Week and the Impact-funded SDG Literacy project, Bobby Mc Cormack of Development Perspectives (DP) facilitated a workshop focusing on the ´Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the SDG Challenge´.
Bobby Mc Cormack of Development Perspectives facilitated an inspiring, interactive and participatory workshop on the ‘Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and The SDG Challenge’ for TU Dublin staff and students. The workshop focused on the United Nations SDGs, their universal relevance, and actions we can take to move towards a more just and equal society. Bobby shared information on the SDGs, for example, how the 17 goals address issues such as climate change, poverty, and responsible consumption, and the ways in which the goals interact and overlap in many respects. Bobby gave an overview of Development Perspectives projects including the SDG challenge, a 17-month project that focuses on one goal per month with online information packs, workshops, and advocacy training to engage all learning styles.
